The new school year is fast approaching (now already here for most).
This year we have a handful of selections for green choices for back to school.

Remember that one of the most eco-friendly things to do is to reuse whatever items you already have - such as backpacks & binders from last year - that are still in good condition.

The Green Office has eco-friendly back to school supplies such as notebooks, three-ring binders, pocket folders, paper, pens, pencils, erasers, markers, crayons, colored pencils, etc.

They also offer pre-made kits for students from kindergarten through 8th grade and teachers as well.

For high school & college students, additional supplies like greener printer cartridges and recycled paper are available through their website.

The Battpak Charger recharges NiMH batteries and can draw power with its AC or DC adapter or plug directly into an iSun to utilize solar power to recharge those batteries. Thus, not only are less batteries (which contain chemicals & metals toxic to the environment) consumed and money saved, but when coupled with an iSun or similar solar device the electricity used is truly “green”.
